Ever since I moved upstate in 2000, I have been emotionally drawn to these old tractors that I would pass by, sitting in fields, by barns, in front yards. Around 2012 I decided to paint a series of them, by season. This would turn into a 2016 calendar that was very popular. The paintings were done on 300 lb watercolor paper with gouache (opaque watercolor). They are all 12” x 16”. The images for the calendar were scanned from the paintings by Printigree in Oneonta. All the original paintings have been sold. Archival giclee prints are available from the artist.
