Am pleased to announce that one of my paintings is paired up in this intriguing ‘concept’ exhibition at the Arnot Museum in Elmira, NY. The spring 2017 feature exhibition 23 Pairs: Considering Compare and Contrast opened to the public on Saturday 18 February and will be on view until August 12. Full disclosure, it’s possible that Gerard is a distant relative!

Twenty three pairs of chromosomes make up the human genome: the building block of each individual’s image. Twenty three Museum works have been installed, each with a companion lent from an American institution. Visit, and compare and contrast – there won’t be a test!  These pairs of art objects combine to shape a new way of seeing and experiencing images.
